10 Years Younger

BEHOLD, my friends.

The biker of my dreams - from none other than H&M's Kids section!

(all H&M besides Topshop boots!)

I've been looking for a replacement for my Topshop biker since it started looking a bit ropey (and since I got pink nail polish on one of the lapels at LFW...)  and it turns out, I'm aged 13-14 when it comes to bikers for kids! The price you pay for wearing clothes aimed at people a decade younger than you? Well, the jacket doesn't exactly do up with ease... But then nor does my knackered Topshop biker which was a size 12, so go figure! This is actually much comfier on the arms than my Topshop one too, and has a much more 'bikery' look with the silver details! £19.99 VERY well spent.

The dress is one of their £7.99 summer bargains, too. My daisy love continues!

I posted about shopping in the kids' section as a Tuesday Tip once, if you wanted a few pointers! (Waaa, don't know why the pics have gone all squished!)

Do you ever shop in the kids' section?

Off out for Nando's and drinks now - perfection!!

  4. Awesome find, the jacket is lovely! Love the dress too. I used to shop in the H&M kids section when I was at uni (don't have H&M in my hometown waah), it's so much cheaper!

Argh Nandos, I'm trying to convince my friends that we need to go there instead of Pizza Hut tomorrow, I need me some chickeny goodness.

  5. Love this outfit, and now want your dress. I often find that age 12/13 clothes from the kids section are just fine, and so much cheaper too. Yay for children's fashion emulating adult wear, I guess! xx

  8. Total bargain! I got a biker jacket from the 'teen' section of Zara the other week for £30, half the price of the one I'd been eyeing up in Topshop. Granted it doesn't do up over my boobs, but at that price I don't care!

  17. Annoyingly, the only H&M local to me is one for kids, but it does mean I've had quite a good look at the H&M kids section and apart from the occasional Justin Bieber t-shirt, there's been quite a few good finds! xx

  25. I always shop in the kids section :) Vintage kids are clothing are the best as most vintage adult clothing is huge on me so with kids stuff I don't need to adjust it.

  31. Kids section, I am so on it. I usually creep about the mens section of shops in the hopes for well priced tailored shirts with sharp collars and excellent tshirts, never even thought of kidswear for jackets! Wonderful! x

  37. Alright FITTY!? Haha I always shop in kids' sections. Unfortunately sometimes my boobs and bum get in the way of amazing things though. They're really good for fun accessories too! xxx

  38. Like you say, kids clothes are great, especially if you're short like me! I'm holding out for a cute maxi skirt or dress in the kids' section so it will be the right length...
